About Schemath Education Foundation
Our Mission
Schemath Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that encourages STEAM-based learning. By learning through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math, students will be able to aspire for a better future in both themselves and the world. It is our greatest goal to inspire the future generation and to support the present and past generation in the pursuit of a STEAM-based field. We believe that all things hold an aspect that is STEAM, therefore, STEAM itself is synonymous to awareness of the world. We want to spark the interest towards STEAM and in turn towards the world they live in.
Our Vision
The name originated from amalgamation of Schema, Chem, and Math. These words lay in the foundation of what Schemath and how its name was created. Schema, the word of general knowledge; our background knowledge. Chem, the first four letters referring to chemistry; a field that explore our world through the study of matter and its changes. Math, the field that stands alone as its own way to investigate the world, but is also used to support science. These three words work together to create Schemath and what it stands for: to advocate for a greater today and tomorrow.
YouthBuild Charter School of California
YouthBuild Charter School of California (YCSC) is a WASC-accredited project-based high school serving young people ages 16-24 who previously left or were pushed out of the traditional school system without a diploma.
